Barbara and Nathan came to us seeking a wedding photographer for their big day. They were on a tight budget and with my packages that I offer for wedding photography, we were able to keep them in budget and give them some fantastic images of their special day including some images of a thunderstorm off in the distance to which Barbara and Nathan were excited to have been photographed in front of.
Barbara and Nathan live locally here in western Kansas. Nathan works for a local manufacturing facility and Barbara works for one of our local department stores. Their choice of wedding venue was a first for me to photograph. The Southstar Barn is a rustic barn here in southwest Kansas that is used for wedding and events and gives a lot of opportunity to create beautiful images. Their wedding was simple yet elegant. They incorporated their children into the ceremony which made it even more special. Some of the highlights included a sand ceremony as well as a remembrance ceremony for those who had passed away beforehand.
Even though this was one of our more simple wedding packages, we strive to give 110% in every wedding we capture, and this one was no exception. We stated the day by capturing both the bridal party and the groom party and then melded it all together for the wedding ceremony and the reception. There were large families on both sides, so special effort was given to make sure that everyone was in each image that the bride and groom requested. The clients were very happy with the outcome and excited for their images.
